We do see that you do not wish to have your troops participate in offensive missions. So we can compromise and send troops to take on that role, so that Canadian forces can participate in other ways. Will this work?

This is a very reasonable comprimise. We would be pleased to spend our last year in Afghanistan engaging in aid work to improve the economic conditions of impoverished citizens there, rather than engaging in combat missions.

Excellent. This is a most reasonable compromise. It is good to see the alliance functioning as it should, as a meeting of friends working toward common goals.

Ok. We will be sending the three battalions that we promised now, in order to allow the Canadians to step away from the front lines.

This is the order that we have sent to the Pentagon and NATO Command:
Quote
The United States needs to send 3 battalions of infantry to Afghanistan. These troops will take up the current positions occupied by Canadian forces. Canadian forces will be moving into a support role, as determined by the Canadian government.

((Mod note: you probably don't need to send three new battalions, you can just switch some American troops of supporting roles :) ))

Romanian government has decided that it will send 3 more battalions (2 infantry and 1 mech. infantry) to replace some of the Spanish and French battalions. This is about to be voted in the parliament.

Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Unfortunately, as it looks that Germany has to shoulder the burden of lifting the Greek debt all alone, we will surly experience a great strain on our national budget very soon. I am afraid that, to save costs, we will have to reduce our commitment to the ISAF and KFOR mission greatly.

We thank our American and French friends for their assistance on the Greek issue. As we have now much more leeway, we am glad to announce that we will continue our ISAF and KFOR commitments. Indeed, if the need arises, we might be open to expanding our commitments to this important missions.

Remarkable, at least one person in these halls is not sound asleep.
